When Death Row was launched?
Death Row Record is an American record label. It was launched in 1991 by D.O.C., Dr. Dre, Suge Knight, and Dick Griffey. The record became a sensation after the launch of multi-platinum hip hop albums. Important artists on that album were Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Tha Dogg Pound, and Tupac.
When Snoop Dogg left Death Row in 1998 he provided the following reason: “There’s nothing over there. Suge Knight is in jail, the president; Dr. Dre left and Tupac is dead. It’s telling me that I’m either going to be dead or in jail or I’m going to be nothing.”
