Adani Enterprise Share Price – Stock Name Adani Enterprises Ltd.

Adani Enterprises Ltd. has corporate interests in a number of economic sectors, including agriculture, integrated resource management (IRM), data centers, solar manufacturing, transportation infrastructure, water, and mining.

A company of the Adani Group Adani Group’s main company, Adani Enterprise Ltd. (AEL), was founded in 1993 and serves as the organization’s business incubator. Adani Power Ltd., Adani Transmission Ltd., Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd., Adani Gas Ltd., Adani Green Energy Ltd., and Adani Wilmar Ltd. are all listed companies or enterprises that were initially hatched within AEL and are now operating independently.

Variety of Businesses Apart from shipping, bunkering, and Agri-storage, which make up a smaller portion of AEL’s overall revenue and profitability, the two main revenue-generating segments for the company on a consolidated basis are integrated solar’s PV cell & module manufacturing and airport. Integrated Resource Management (IRM) and Mining Services generate the majority of AEL’s standalone revenue.

Business segments Adani Enterprises Limited

Resource management integration Since the establishment of the Adani Group’s mining business unit in 2007, AEL has held a leading position in India’s Integrated Resources Management industry. Through these agreements, AEL imports coal from suppliers in South Africa, Australia, and Indonesia and sells it to a variety of domestic customers. As opposed to 63.4 MMT in FY21, AEL imported 64.4 MMT of coal during FY22. IRM business generated 39% of the consolidated EBITDA and 70% of the overall consolidated revenue for FY22.

The concentration of Mining Operations is in the industry, specifically Commercial Mining (Coal) and Developer & Operator (MDO – Coal & Iron Ore). It runs a number of mines across India and is also developing and running in Indonesia and Australia.

Solar PV production The largest integrated manufacturer in India is Adani. It has an electronic manufacturing cluster (EMC) facility with a 1.5 GW manufacturing capacity and research and development (R&D) capabilities in the Mundra Special Economic Zone (SEZ). The multi-level architecture of Adani Solar’s production plant will be tailored for scaling up to 3.5 GW of modules and cells under one roof.

Road Improvement The road, water, and data center segments of AEL all have active projects. The company Adani Road Transport Ltd. is involved in road projects. AEL currently has 14 active projects in the road segment, with 5 under the Build-Operate-Transfer model, 8 under the Hybrid Annuity Model, and 1 under the Toll-Operate-Transfer model. Out of the aforementioned, one is in operation, one is almost finished, and the rest are in various stages of completion.

Centers for data Adani Water Ltd. is working on two water projects for AEL. Adani Connex, a joint venture between AEL and Edge Connex, is where AEL is building data centers. Adani Connex would build data centers in Chennai, Navi Mumbai, Noida, Vizag, and Hyderabad during the initial phase. By Q2 of FY23, the Chennai Data Center will be online.

Airports The Adani Group entered the airport industry in 2019. Through the Airports Authority of India’s internationally competitive tendering process, Adani Airports was awarded the contract to modernize and operate six airports, including those in Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Jaipur, Guwahati, and Thiruvananthapuram. For 50 years, Adani Airports will run, oversee, and expand all six airports.

High Debt Fuels Capex Total debt climbed to Rs. 41,024 Cr. as of March 31, 2022 (including Rs. 12,541 Cr. in unsecured loans from promoters), up from Rs. 16,051 Cr. as of the previous year (including Rs. 4444 Cr. in unsecured loans from founders). The company has budgeted about Rs. 38000 Cr. in Capex for FY23, of which Rs. 11500 Cr. would go toward airport operations, Rs. 9,400 Cr. will go toward Adani New Industries Ltd. and Rs. 9000 Cr. will go toward the road segment. The proposed Capex for FY24 is Rs. 48000 crores, of which Rs. 19,600 crores will go to the ANIL, Rs. 8,000 crores to the airport, and Rs. 9000 crores to the road section. The majority of Capex is anticipated to be incurred in ANIL after FY24.
